Home Learning Heroes

I have been loving the variety of home learning that has been sent in today. It is great to see you are getting outside with your learning as well spending your time writing and typing. Will there be snow to play in today?

Home Learning Heroes

More and more emails have come flooding in with photos of your home learning. We have fire of London painting, pyramids, Egyptian biscuits and sweets and even a clay cartouche. Keep up the amazing work everybody!

Safer Internet Day

The theme for this year is 'an internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world'.

The idea behind the focus for this year is to look at why inaccurate content exists, where it comes from, and what young people can do in response.

We know that the issues of misinformation and ‘fake news’ do not solely affect young people, but that these issues do have a great impact on how young people feel about their time online.

We want to help equip young people with the skills they need to spot inaccurate content, which can sometimes be a complex task. Once young people feel more comfortable separating fact from fiction it is important that we then help them to take the next steps in helping to create an internet full of trustworthy and reliable information.

The link below provides information for children which is age-related, as well as information for carers and parents about how they can keep their children safe online:

School Celeb

A huge well done to Indiee for making it into an issue of Country Walking magazine. Indiee and all the family are big fans of walking and this picture shows them out and about in the recent snow. I will have to get Indiee to give me a signed copy!

Home Learning Heroes

Here is another quick snapshot of some of the amazing home learning photos that have been sent into school. You really are such a talented bunch. We are missing you all so much in school and we hope to see you all soon in person, rather than just on TEAMs.

Here are a few more of the wonderful photos we have been sent from you by email engaging with your home learning. Mummies seem to be roaming the Duloe area at the moment and there are some fantastic examples from Mrs Wright's RE lessons that have come in as well.
