Class 1 have been showing their artisitic skills by using watercolours to do some observational paintings of daffodils. The children have also been doing as much writing as possible since the return from lockdown. Their quality has been fantastic.
Class 3 took their daily reading outside again today and headed for the local woods. The children completed a three mile walk with lots of opportunities to stop and read along the way.
Here is a snapshot of some of the wonderful learning and experiences our Nursurey children have been engaging in over the last few days. They are settling is so well post lockdown and seem to be having a huge amount of fun!
Class 3 took the opportunity of the good weather this morning to take their daily reading onto the village green. The children were able to enjoy their books with the sun on their backs!
It has been such a pleasure to welcome all the children back to school. The sun has been shining and we have been making the most of being able to take our learning outside.
Thank you again to everybody for all of your hard working with remote learning. I think all our parents and carers have done an amazing job!
As part of our return to school, we are again holding Collective Worship. In line with social distancing rules, the children are staying within their class bubbles and have their daily worship via TEAMs. We have already being reviewing our school vision and our Christian values and over the course of the week, children will listen to stories, sing songs and celebrate many wonderful things.

The children and staff at Duloe would like to say a huge thank you to our governor, Armand Toms, who has built this wonderful bench displaying our school name and vision. It is going to take pride of place within our school and we greatly appreciate Armand's time and skill in producing such a stunning item. We would also like to say thank you to Jewson's builder's merchants in Looe who kindly donated the wood. We are truly blessed.
A huge well done to our writing superstar, who has won a Blue Peter badge for her Egyptian letter she wrote as part of her home learning. We are so proud of her and all the hard work she has put into her writing. She really deserves this award. Congratulations!
More wonderful examples of home learning: Egyptian Art and Design, rock hunting is science, map skills in geography and some super writing!
