The children's Christmas performance videos are now available via your Microsoft TEAMs invitation. A huge thank you to Stephanie Fisher and Sally Butlin for supporting the children with their dance and music performances respectively.
A very merry Christmas to you all from all the staff at Duloe Primary.
Christmas dinner day went ahead, almost as normal this week, with each bubble visiting the hall individually and enjoying their meal. A huge thank you to the PTFA for supplying the crackers and of course to all of Mrs Crago's efforts for producing such a wonderful spread.
Class 1 have been learning about textiles in their Design and Technology lessons and have been designing and creating their own Christmas decorations.
To bring to an end the children's Cornish theme for the half-term, 'Is everything you need in Cornwall?' The children watched a streamed theatre production of the classic Cornish story of the Mousehole Cat. Produced by Cousin Jack's theatre company, the production was a huge success and brought a fitting end to a wonderful term.
We had a surprise visit from the one and only Father Christmas today! With the help of his PTFA and parish council elves, as well as some very generous supporters, every child in the school recieved some wonderful gifts. The children really appreciated the visit and it certainly got everybody in the Christmas spirit.
Class 2 have been demonstrating fantastic learning within Design and Technology this week. They went for a walk in the woods to collect natural materials which they could use to make their Christmas decorations. They designed, manufactured and evaluated these wonderful creations.
Class 1 had a Cornish themed Creative Day to finish off their topic this term, 'Is everything you need in Cornwall? The children had a wonderful day making lanterns ready for our Mousehole Cat performance, they learnt to speak some Cornish and made traditional Cornish recipes. Proper job1

The children were able demonstrate their cooking skills to produce some delicious crepes, sing Jingle Bells in French, try a selection of French foods, play French games and learnt Christmas vocabulary.
The children have looked wonderful today, dressed up in their Christmas jumpers, to raise money for Save the Children. The children have been getting into the festive spirit, while raising money for a great cause. Thank you everybody
